Awards Program

Blue Ribbons
General Information

The Awards program is very popular with DSDCTA members and is celebrated with a luncheon and presentation ceremony at the end of the show season.  Be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules and requirements.   Report any discrepancies in standings to the appropriate awards chair.

The awards year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th.

Only shows occurring during the competition year will be included for purposes of the Competition Awards Program.

Competition Awards

Dressage, Combined Training, Dressage Sport Horse Breeding and Handler awards will be offered in the following divisions:
  • Junior/Young Rider
  • Adult Amateur
  • Masters
  • Open

Service Awards

The DSDCTA is a volunteer organization.  Volunteerism is an important aspect of the social component of our organization.  Many of us find it enjoyable and rewarding to spend a few hours volunteering among like-minded equestrian enthusiasts at horse shows and horse trials.   [ more... ]

Scholarships

The DSDCTA scholarship program is for members who are working to sharpen their equestrian skills.  The objective of the grant is to enable the Adult Amateur or JR/YR rider to take some concentrated instruction to further or meet specific goals that might not be otherwise financially available.  [ more... ]
