Horses - Wanted

Looking for Retired, Ridable Horse

I have some friends in Virginia with a lovely, wonderful barn on their property. They are very active in the rescue of horses etc. and have a couple of rescues at the moment. We gave our wonderful school horse, Pongo, to them after he decided he had enough of the up/down life and started scraping the kids off on the fence!! They loved him and cared for him for years. This winter they discovered a tumor in his head and they are now grieving his loss.

If anyone has a "retired" ridable horse....walk, trot only...(trail rides in the woods kinda guy)...that they want a FABULOUS home for, let me know. They must be SAFE and quiet to handle of course. Mostly someone that is paying board somewhere for a retired horse and would like to see them have a lifetime home that is above and beyond as far as love and care.

Jodie visited Pongo this past summer in his stall with a view of the mountains and said he was about as fat and happy as an appaloosa could be !!!

Email Laurie Kelly for more information.
