Join DSDCTA
DSDCTA is a "Group Member Organization" of the United States Dressage Federation. As such, we are represented, in a voting capacity, at Regional and Annual
Business Meetings of the USDF by DSDCTA delegates/representatives from our membership or by proxy, as decided by the current DSDCTA Board of Directors.
As a "GMO", a portion of DSDCTA membership dues is paid to the USDF. In addition to a voice in the national decision making process, each current GMO Member
of DSDCTA receives a Group USDF Membership. This entitles DSDCTA members to receive the USDF Connection and other local publications such as the DSDCTA Newsletter Tempo.
Participating Members of USDF pay a separate application fee. Participating members are eligible for USDF Year End and Special Awards, in addition to a direct
vote in business decided by the General Membership of USDF. Group Members of USDF are not eligible participate in the USDF Horse of the Year/Breed Awards however, there are
other rider awards available to Group members. Please check out www.usdf.org for more info.
There are seven (7) classes of membership: Supporting, Family, Contributing, Life, Honorary, At-Large and Junior Members.
DSDCTA offers additional family memberships at a cost of $30 per family member in addition to the cost of an Individual DSDCTA membership (currently $45). For
example, your family purchases one individual membership for $45 and then each family member is $30 each. If you have 4 people in your family to join DSDCTA through a family
membership, your total dues are $135. The family membership offers each family member Group Member status with USDF. The only difference with the family membership is that
additional family members will not receive a USDF Connection or DSDCTA Newsletter or other publications as it is assumed that family members reside in the same household.
Publications will be addressed to the DSDCTA Indivudual Member (the USDF Group Member).
Download and print the 2008 Membership Form and/or the 2008 Horse Registration Form. Please fill out the form(s) completely and mail
to the address found on the form. Membership questions should be addressed to Ruthanne Faine-Gardner.
Please note: The DSDCTA 2008 Membership Year begins December 1, 2007 and will end November 30, 2008.
